Arrival/Dismissal/Visitation
Camper check-in will begin at 10:30 a.m. on the first day of camp in the gym. No one will be processed before this time. All camp visitors must have the prior consent of the camp director.
Camper dismissal will be at 1 p.m. at the Chapel on the last day of camp.
Health Dept. Requirements
If the temperature is 100.3 or above, the individual will be immediately quarantined, and we will immediately begin the process of contacting you so that the individual can be taken home. Contact tracing will be used at the discretion of the camp director and camp medical director in determining who else needs to be quarantined. The decision of the directors is final.
We are mandated by the health department to conduct head lice checks. If you prefer, you may have a licensed healthcare provider perform the head check on the morning of camp. The healthcare provider will need to give you a signed note stating who performed the check and when the check was performed. We will perform checks on everyone who does not have a note containing all these details. This process is done in private. Anyone being found to have head lice and/or nits will be sent home.
Campers can be treated for lice, be seen by a health care professional, and if found to be lice and nit free, may be rechecked by the camp medical director before returning to camp. The decision of the medical director is final. If a camper is sent home due to lice or nits, No refunds are given.
The District has consulted with the CDC (Center for Disease Control) in establishing a bed bug policy. If, at any point, bed bugs are suspected, we will err on the side of caution and carefully follow the policy and procedures. If you would like to see the policy, please contact Randy Diller at dillerjr@gmail.com. Early Release
Any early release must be coordinated with the directors. Reasons for early release are as follows but are not limited to:
The camp nurse will send home campers with fever, vomiting, diarrhea, etc., and the camp director may expel those in direct violation of camp rules.
Parents or responsible parties must respond to early release in a timely manner. No refunds can be given for early release.
Please be advised
Campers will not be permitted to carry or use cell phones at camp. If family communication is necessary, it must be done through the camp director. This regulation is in the best interest of the campers.
