Preteen Retreat

Adult Chaperones* wishing to volunteer will need to complete the online application process, including a background check and sexual abuse awareness training. The cost of these items is $18 and will be billed to your local church.

We are also asking you to pay a small fee of $15. 00 to help offset the cost of our activities and food. We would also encourage the local church to cover this cost for volunteers if financially feasible.

Adult Registration is now Open for 2027.

*Space is limited for adult chaperones, and we will be contacting your local church for a recommendation before we confirm you will be a chaperone (completing the application is not a guarantee). Once a chaperone has completed the application, and we have spoken with the local church, we will notify you to complete the background and awareness training. We will work with you and/or the church then to collect payment ($15/registration, $18 background/awareness training).

Friday, January 15th, Drop Off 6:00 – 7:30 pm – Monday, January 18th, Pick Up 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. We hope this long weekend will help us to get to know your pre-teens and them us.  It will also provide more time for them to develop new friendships with other pre-teens on the district.

Late drop off and late pick up is purposeful to allow for working parents to have the time needed to transport. We also know your child may have conflict because of other commitments over a long weekend. If alternative arrival plans are needed, you must work with the retreat director prior to the retreat and follow all guidelines and allowable drop off times. If a child must leave early from retreat, they will not be allowed to return. The cost of $75.00 per student still applies even if a child arrives late or leaves early. 

$75.00 per student now through December 31st, 2025.

Late Registration is $90  starting January 1st to January 10th, 2026.

All payment is due at time of registration and NON-refundable.

We will have FUN CRAZY Activities that Pre Teens-LOVE on and off site!

We will have YUMMY home cooked food and plenty of it!

We will have large group and small group experiences that will speak to the hearts of your students.

We will serve with a with a local outreach ministry as a missions/service project.

The Retreat Schedule will operate very similar to our summer church camps.

• We will offer 3 full meals a day as well as snacks.
• We will have a morning group gathering for a time of learning
• We will have an evening group gathering for a time of learning
• We will offer onsite and offsite activities and the students will also have some down time each day to just be friends and hang out
• We will have activity stations readily available all weekend for the students to participate in anytime there is free time such as gaga ball, 9 square in the air and creative/art stations
• In years past we have gone swimming, roller skating, putt-putt, ninja courses, rock-wall climbing, gyms, and more. We will do similar activities this year, and those will be determined closer to the date and based on the number of participants.
